International 14 Worlds – New Leaders

Andy Shaw and Rob Struckett are the new leaders of the International 14 World Championship taking place in Canada out of Portsmouth Olympic Harbour.

Shaw and Struckett won both races completed on the second day of racing. The first ahead of Glen Truswell and Ed FitzGerald (2, 9) and the second ahead of Dennis Gehrlein and Lasse Nielandt (7, 2) of Germany.

Former leaders, Truswell and FitzGerald drop to second seven points behind Shaw and Struckett, with Adam Ovington and Stu Keegan (5, 3) now third.

In fourth are Lauren Laventure and Jason Lemieux (4, 8)  and fifth Sebastian Prüter and Philipp Kastell (11, 7) of Germany.

Mariah Millen / Justin Barnes of Canada posted a 9 , 5, to move into 6th, with Peter Hayward and Andreas Koechli of Canada seventh.

Racing continues through Friday 28 August.
