The Rolex SailGP Championship returns to the Baltic this weekend for the ROCKWOOL Germany Sail Grand Prix. Thirteen international teams will race meters from the shoreline in front of a sold-out crowd of 13,000 across the weekend.

GP Watercraft are delighted to announce the Melges 15 UK National Championship will now be held at Warsash Sailing Club between the 18th and 20th September.

Emirates GBR Driver Dylan Fletcher MBE said the team was “excited to get racing” as SailGP returns to the fastest racecourse in the championship this weekend.

14 races were sailed with 13 boats competing on a good course set by Dave Tomlinson. But unlucky for some the wind direction made top marks distant, proving tricky. All but one used A rigs under a blue, white and dark grey sky.

The B14 Nationals is being hosted by the very hospitable Mumbles Yacht Club with a plentiful supply of bacon butties to prepare the fleet for the windiest day of the Champs.
