A record-setting fleet of 52 International Six Metre class yachts will compete on Switzerland’s Lake Geneva later this month at the 2026 European Championships, hosted by the Société Nautique de Genève.

Sir Ben Ainslie returned to Portsmouth to inspire the next generation for 1851 Trust’s STEM Crew Live event, held from 29 June to 2 July, ahead of the Emirates Great Britain Sail Grand Prix.

This event, the third in the Enterprise Midland area Double Chine series, was held at Midland SC. The conditions were warm and dry with plenty of cloud, there was a gusty F4 West South westerly wind, giving planing conditions and the odd capsize.
