France and Italy both sailed earlier this week. For the French it was their first sail since they competed in the 2024 America’s Cup regattas in Barcelona. It would appear that there were some gremlins, which is to be expected.

Round the Island entry deadline looms
The entry deadline for this year’s Round the Island Race is fast approaching. While people can enter until Wednesday 8 July, from this Saturday, 4th July, the late entry fee – up to more than 50 percent more expensive – will apply.

Scottish Solo Championship at Chanonry
After a very successful one day event at Chanonry in 2024 the Scottish Solo fleet returned for the HD Sails Scottish Championship on June 27/28. The fleet was somewhat depleted due to some regulars running the regatta at Largo Bay.

Challengers at Bardowie Loch
Duncan’s Regatta took place at Bardowie Loch during the weekend 27–28 June. Duncan’s Regatta is so called because this Challenger event has been generously sponsored by Duncan Yacht Chandlers in Glasgow for many years.

Frensham Pond Enterprise Open
