The first phase of the 13th edition of Foiling Week has come to a close. Until July 5th, the international event continues to bring the global foiling community together in Malcesine.

Vaikobi, the Australian-owned performance watersports brand trusted by paddlers, sailors and foilers worldwide, today announced a partnership with Starboard Japan, led by Nakagama Yoichi, to establish “Vaikobi Japan” as its exclusive distributor in Japan.

The RTYC 15 boat fleet had a busy seven-race Spring Series on short courses in the area between the North and South Forelands, or between Broadstairs and Sandwich Bay as far as Deal. Conditions varied from a full gale to a flat calm.

Six Wanderers made their way to a sweltering Grafham Water for their 2026 Inland Championships. We were sharing with the Wayfarer fleet who were holding their Nationals over three days, and were fortunate not to sail on the Friday.

The inaugural Hellenic Sailing League powered by Grivalia got underway in spectacular fashion, 27-28 June, as 19 crews from Greece’s top sailing teams battled it out in over 20 knots of breeze on the Athenian Riviera.

The collaboration comes hot on the heels of its recent boat insurance partnership with Yacht Havens and helps to bring the local sailing community together for an action packed and fun filled week.

A start line was laid between Under Tyne and Fitzwilliam, and, given the light conditions, a single round upwind to Tara, downwind to the newly laid Britten, and back to the line was set.

Following a week of intense heat, the slightly cooler conditions (24 degrees) were welcomed by 14 crews. Less inviting was a very gentle breeze from the south west, against a flood tide.
