The B14 bandwagon spent the week before the AllSpars Final Fling following the forecasts with great interest. Some inland events were cancelled due to predicted lack of wind. Some took place and the wind was scarce.

Chew Valley Lake Sailing Club hosted The Tideway Firefly Inland Championship over the weekend of 4-5 October. A fleet of 40 Fireflys arrived to contest the National Inland title, alongside the Mirror fleet sharing the event.

Thirteen Merlin Rockets arrived at Ranelagh Sailing Club for their Annual Down River Race. This was the second visit to the club this year in Class’s Racing Calendar and was the final event in the Thames, Classic and Vintage Series’.

The Allen factory, based in Southminster, Essex in the UK, makes many of the deck hardware and fittings that we use in our sailing, be that on dinghies or keelboats.
