PYRA Poole Bay Summer Series day 2
Sunday saw 17 yachts, both fully crewed and two handed, from Poole lining up for race 2 of the Poole Bay Summer Series. The forecasts for some days prior had all been showing a NW swinging to S and dropping to between 1 abd 5 knots during the race period.

Osprey at the Tenby Regatta
Seven Ospreys attended the Open Meeting at Tenby over the weekend of 13th and 14th June as part of the Tenby Regatta. After weeks of cold and rain Pembrokeshire lived up to its reputation and it was a pleasant weekend of warm and sunny weather.

Topper traveller at Parkstone
On Sunday 7th of June, I was one of nearly thirty topper sailors who took part in the south-west Topper traveller event. Parkstone is my home club, so I was very excited to race against people from all over the Southwest.

Jubilee/Elizabeth Mowbray Trophy at Overy Staithe
A beautiful evening for a gentle sail with sunshine and a force 2 northerly. In race 1 George crossed the fleet on port at the start but was overhauled by Will Worsley and Andy Turner by Houseboat buoy.

Surge Triumphs at 172nd NYYC Annual Regatta
Ryan McKillen’s Surge opened the M32 Newport summer season with a victory at the 172nd New York Yacht Club Annual Regatta, with recent college graduate Mitchell Callahan stepping aboard and helping secure the win in his first M32 regatta.
