Thanks to storm Floris there was no sailing on Monday, the Race Officer sensibly gave everyone the day off, making the decision at 08.00 on the Monday morning. Tuesday brought a F5 from the North West.

29er World Championship at Porto Day 3
After a delayed start, Porto delivered on Day 3! With a big swell and light breeze early on, racing was slow to begin, but when the sea breeze kicked in around 13:30, it turned into a spectacular afternoon of 29er racing.

GP14 Nationals at Tenby day 3
After storm Floris had kept the fleet ashore on Monday, allowing for trips to chandleries and boat repairs for some, thers explored the town of Tenby and, once the sun came out, played games on the beach.

Scorpion Nationals at Penzance Day 3
Tuesday dawned with clear blue skies and a good breeze which was a welcome sight for the Scorpion sailors after a day ashore yesterday. An additional race was planned after losing two yesterday, so there was definitely a buzz in the dinghy park.

Miracle Nationals at Tenby Day 2
After a Monday that was called off early due to the Storm Floris, today’s racing in Tenby featured seriously breezy weather, with some lumpy gusts for good measure. Some folks decided (perhaps wisely) to stay ashore.

XOD Captain’s Cup at Cowes Week Day 4
After a day of rest the X boaters were back at it again today for day 4 of Cowes Week. With the wind a tricky North Westerly with some punchy gusts at times, the heavily biased start line was awkward.
