Saturday 12th of September saw Emberton Park SC host the first round of the 26/27 Noble Marine Supernova Travellers series. Seven visitors joined the Emberton sailors to field a sixteen strong fleet of Supernovas!

Thursday evening of 27th August 2026 saw the last of Tamesis Club’s Thursday evening races. The club runs two handicap trophies every Thursday evening through May and June, for the Saga Trophy, and July and August for the GW Smith Trophy.

Canberra Airport claimed back-to-back wins in the first two heats of Manly 16ft Skiff Club’s short course pointscore series on Saturday, making a bold statement of intent.

A stiff 20 knots from the SW meant that only four Redwing crews went afloat to race on Saturday, and there were no One-Design takers.

The third event in the Rooster sponsored ILCA South Regional Youth series was hosted by Island Barn Reservoir Sailing Club (IBRSC) on 12th September alongside the IBRSC ILCA Open and Thames Valley ILCA Grand Prix Series.

The penultimate round of the HD Sails sponsored Solo Scottish Area Series was held at the very beautiful Loch Tummel Sailing Club on Saturday 12th September and attracted 10 entrants.

By 1 p.m. today, as the northerly dwindled to nothing and the sea breeze looked ambivalent at best, the call to move the first start up an hour to 10 a.m. proved to be prescient.

IRC was at the heart of the 36th Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup, with all five monohull classes racing and being scored under IRC at one of the world’s most prestigious maxi yacht regattas.
