As The Ocean Race Europe came to a close in Montenegro, sailors and teams started to turn their attention to the next event in The Ocean Race calendar – The Ocean Race Atlantic: New York to Barcelona.

Nineteen sailors travelled to Chipstead SC lake to contest Race 6 of the DF95 Met & Southern Travellers Open Meeting. The Wind was from the North East not an ideal direction with its strength at the top end of a DF95 A rig.

Day two of the Formula Wing World Championships in Cagliari, Sardinia, delivered five short-course races and a whole range of emotions across the 93-strong international fleet.

The day dawned bright but chilly at Trent Valley, location for the next round of the Midland, Classic and Vintage Series. We were greeted with bacon sandwiches and tea while looking at beautiful views of the River Trent and surrounding countryside.

After three wonderful days of “champagne sailing” as the Anglo-Saxons say, the “fan” decided to take a break this Thursday.

Three races for both divisions on the penultimate day of the 2025 Six Metre World Championships at the Seawanhaka Corinthian Yacht Club, produced some great competition and a new race winner.
