From Cancer Diagnosis to Solo Atlantic Crossing
Luke Rossiter was diagnosed with Stage 3 cancer and in February 2026 began an intense course of chemotherapy. He set himself an ambitious goal, to complete a solo Atlantic sailing crossing later this year, dependent on treatment progress.

Record turnout at Delph SC ILCA Open
Delph SC in Bolton held its ILCA Open meeting, hosting the new Northern Youth Circuit. A strong turnout of 42 competitors from clubs stretching from Yorkshire to the Lancashire coast gathered at Delph Sailing Club on Saturday 18th April.

DF95 Spring Series at Barton’s Point week 3
Fourteen members turned out for 15 races in East Kent’s 3rd Spring Series event at Bartons’s Point Sheppey. It was B rigs all round, and Ralph Wilkinson did race officer coaching for each skipper in turn.
