Thank you to all those who joined us for the Ancasta Summer Blast in Lymington where we managed to raised over £6,000 for the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust, whilst bringing together owners, friends and families for a memorable weekend on and off the water.

It was great to see many friends from MOCRA at RVYC & Bembridge SC for their 2026 Nationals. As has been done a few years previously, the Championships was programmed for the three days during the week before the Round the Island race.

The 2026 World Championships reached a decisive milestone on Thursday at Club de Vela La Ballena Alegre, as the Opening Series came to an end and the athletes who will battle for the world titles in Friday’s Medal Series were officially decided.

The Governor’s Cup International Youth Match Racing Championship is always competitive. However, this year there will be a number of matches that will be intriguing to watch and especially important to the competitors involved.

Five years after the hugely successful 2021 Finn World Masters, the Finn fleet will return to the Mar Menor, in Murcia, Spain, this October for the 2026 Finn European Masters.

As predicted, Day 3 brought a very different Eckernförde. The big breeze of the opening days gave way to much lighter, shifty conditions that turned the racing technical and demanding — a day for patience, lane management and reading the water.
