Fifteen National Scorpion dinghies gathered at the Weymouth & Portland National Sailing Academy last weekend for race coaching in preparation for the national championships in Looe at the beginning of August.

Budworth Sailing Club hosted the fourth event of the Sailing Chandlery RS200 Northern Tour Series. Six visitors joined nine home boats and the predicted forecast of WNW F4-5 proved pretty accurate.

As promised the sun shone and the wind blew. Eight home boats mostly functioning and three visitors with tall rigs arrived from their river clubs.
