Cramond Boat Club, on the outskirts of Edinburgh, was delighted to host the inaugural Wanderer Scottish Open Championship in association with the Wanderer Class Owners Association on 9th & 10th August 2025, to coincide with the club’s own dinghy regatta.

The Voyage of Madmen film, released today on the Golden Globe Youtube channel, is the story of Don McIntyre’s 50 year anniversary recreation of the infamous race and his quest to attract amateur sailors to compete in small boats.

The Stiffkey Cockle is a well known boat in North West Norfolk with many of them sailed at Overy Staithe. Their tan sails regularly grace the creek and this is the chance for them to dust off their racing skills and move up a gear.

The weekend of 9th-10th August marked a milestone for rowing on the Isle of Wight as Brading Haven Gig Rowers, a section of Brading Haven Yacht Club, hosted their first annual Summer Gig Regatta.

The third day of racing at the 2025 ILCA Senior European Championships & Open European Trophy marked the conclusion of the Qualifying Series, setting the stage for the Final Series to begin tomorrow.

The RS500 World Championship 2025 brought an unforgettable blend of competitive racing, international camaraderie, and sun-soaked celebration to Follonica, Italy, from 4th to 8th August.
