ILCA 7 World Championship – Finn Lynch continues to lead

Ireland’s Finn Lynch continues to lead the ILCA 7 World Championship after two more races on Dublin Bay for the 140 competitors.

Lynch added a 2nd to his score and discarded a 7th leaving him top of the leaderboard after five races with 9 pts.

In second is Ole Schweckendiek of Germany adding an -8 and 2 for 12 pts, and third Jonatán Vadnai of Hungary (5, -11) with 14 pts.

A better day for Britain’s Elliot Hanson and Michael Beckett. Hanson is now fourth after a 7 and 1 with 15 pts, and Beckett fifth after a 1 and 3, also with 15 pts.

Other race winners on Wednesday were: Pavlos Kontides CYP in 13th, Duko Bos NED in 17th, and Haruto Kuroda JPN in 51st, and Luc Chevrier in 55th.

Apart from Lynch  and Schweckendiek, the top ten are covered by six points.
